Quality Assurance
Quality is a top priority, ensuring that each part that we produce is up to standard. As there are no international guidelines or standards governing the acceptable quality of 3D printed parts, we have designed processes to ensure that parts create are up to specification. This is how:
What we look at:
General Cosmetics Standards:
FDM
All support structures will be removed, it may have slight marks that cannot be removed. Surfaces have a consistent visual appearance.
SLS
Powder removal only. No further post-processing will be applied.
MJF
Powder removal only. No further post-processing will be applied.
SLA
All support material will be removed. There may be nibs which would be sanded smooth using 80-120 grit sandpaper and a finer grit sandpaper, 150-220 grit, will be used to achieve a smooth continuous surface.
General Dimensional Accuracy:
FDM
Dimensional accuracy of ± 0.5% with a lower limit of ± 0.5 mm
SLS
Dimensional accuracy of ± 0.3% with a lower limit of ± 0.3 mm
MJF
Dimensional accuracy of ± 0.3% with a lower limit of ± 0.3 mm
SLA
Dimensional accuracy of ± 0.5% with a lower limit of ± 0.15 mm
Production
We use standard inspection criteria throughout all the parts. This helps to get consistent standards and control. For multiple order of the same part number, we use ISO2859 – General Level 2 Sampling.

For example, PART01 has an order quantity of 20, 5 pieces will be taken and measured as to ensure quality.
Specific Requirements?
Providing an engineering drawing with the tolerances, GD&T, notes, and other requirements like surface finish or post-processing requirements is the most ideal way to communicate requirements. However, if you are unable to provide it, please contact us so that we are able to fulfil your requirements.
