Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

A powder-based technology, Selective Laser Sintering or SLS for short, uses a laser to give heated powder that extra energy to fuse together, making highly complex parts that do not require any supporting structure. This makes it incredibly versatile for a wide range of applications.

Our Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Materials

We carry some of the widest range of materials in the region to meet some of the most demanding engineering requirements. Some notable materials are:

PA 12

Nylon 12 is a grade of nylon that has great mechanical properties making it suitable for even end-use products

  • Suitable for many applications
  • Good mechanical properties
PA 11

Nylon 11 is a more ductile grade of nylon. Making it suitable for more flexible products.

  • More ductile than PA12
  • Increased impact resistance.

Beyond Bynd Quality Standards for SLS Parts

We have high standards for parts printed on our SLS platforms. Visual inspection is done on every single part

  • All unfused powder is removed.
  • Appearance can be improved using additional post-processing
